The game is a fun combination of a metroidvania & “escape room puzzler” with themes of the Snake game, stories of Lupin/Sherlock Holmes, Ouroboros and the detective genre.

Through the world (sewer system), you ask a bunch of characters and analyze the world for clues. The player has the power to rewind back and reset from the beginning with newly acquired knowledge.

The game progresses in very interesting ways where you may discover more than you initially would think. Try and progress through the many satisfying to solve/get past hindrances in the world to complete the game!

Est. playtime = ~ 45 min. depending on your puzzle solving skills.

The theme “Loop” is presented in many ways. 

• The Gameplay Loop of a metroidvania where you gather info and reset over and over. 
• The theme of “Arsene Lupin”, renamed Loopin'.
• When branching out and gathering information, the player keeps it in their brain IRL, however in-game, this works as reversing time back to the beginning. So a Time Loop.
• A snake making a “Loop” by e.g. eating itself. Ouroboros like.  
• The detective genre “Loupe”.
• Elements of reentering (“Looping”) the same game with a different perspective.
• In regards to information, the player is "Out of the Loop".
